Engineer Manager

Summary

Join Cloudflare's Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI) department as a Systems Engineer to help build and maintain the codebase that powers the Workers AI platform. This role requires expertise in Rust, WebAssembly, TypeScript, and basic notions of Machine Learning and GPUs.

Requirements

• Experience leading a high performing team that provides AI and ML inference
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with tight deadlines and short release cycles
• Expert-level knowledge in Python for AI development, particularly pytorch or tensorflow
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Obsession with performance and observability
• Strong systems-level programming skills
• Expert-level knowledge in a modern compiled language like Go, Rust or modern C++
