Engineering Manager

Summary

Adverity is seeking an Engineering Manager to develop and nurture the engineering team, shape initiatives, deliver value, foster professional growth, support team growth, and meet certain requirements. The role can be based in Europe or Vienna. Requirements

• Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring product development teams to deliver timely, high-quality software
• Direct management experience in an engineering team
• Solid experience working in an Agile/Lean development environment
• Outstanding communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture the engineering team
• Shape & align initiatives and develop the delivery roadmap
• Deliver value by continuously improving how product development teams work in an Agile/Lean environment
• Foster professional growth through coaching, mentorship, and regular actionable feedback
• Support team growth by participating in hiring and onboarding of product development teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to think strategically about mid and long-term projects and initiatives
• Background as a Software Engineer
• Experience leading remote teams based in Europe
• Experience with B2B product-driven engineering teams
