Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Blend, an award-winning consultancy, as an Engineering Manager and lead a team in developing, refactoring, and scaling applications using React, TypeScript, and Python. You will collaborate with product managers and clients, architect new features, and ensure high-quality code. This role requires experience leading teams and proficiency in full-stack development. Requirements

• Experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for front-end development
• Strong understanding of Python for backend development
• Experience in full-stack development, building both frontend and backend components
• Ability to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and contribute to team success
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions

Responsibilities

• Drive the development, refactoring, and scaling of the application using React, TypeScript, and Python
• Lead a team of junior engineers, ensuring high-quality code, best practices, and production standards
• Collaborate with product managers and clients to align technical solutions with business goals
• Architect and implement new features, improving performance and maintainability
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end services
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and maintain strong testing and deployment processes
