Requirements

• Highly self-motivated and results-oriented team player
• 7+ years of experience in software development, QA or related areas, with at least 3 years in a leadership position (Team Lead or Engineering Manager)
• Experience in people management and leading remote, cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of software development processes, including frontend and backend development, software testing, and CI/CD
• Designing and implementing software solutions
• Good understanding of the principles of building a reliable architecture
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced level of English

• Being responsible for the team’s direction, performance and outcomes

• Ensuring the product’s technical excellence
• Software and solution architecture
• Recruitment and retention
• Onboarding and training
• Ensuring effective collaboration and communication with related functions
• Hiring, mentoring, and managing performance within the team
• Continuously improve delivery flow by advocating and implementing Lean-Agile practices
• Monitoring and analyzing team performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Providing regular reporting and metrics to the Head of Development to enable effective decision-making
• Collaborating with the Head of Development, your peers and Principal Engineer to align technical and product strategies
• Overseeing the technical and architectural design processes
• Overseeing the technical strategy implementation
• Tracking the system performance according to Non-Functional requirements and ensuring adherence
• Leading internal functional and cross-functional projects to optimize the development process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• DevOps mindset
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Development experience in different programming languages
