Engineering Manager

Requirements

• A passion for building, leading, and nurturing successful product engineering teams
• Ability to work with different frameworks - a PHP-hater will have difficulties
• Experience in working with external software providers
• Experience in managing AWS cloud services
• Understands how to handle topics relating to GDPR
• Coaching and mentoring skills to help your team grow and succeed
• A strong understanding of industry trends and a desire to stay up to date with the latest technologies
• A clear and fluid communication style when articulating your ideas
• Proficient in English language, German language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Empower your team and create a safe and inclusive environment. Help them grow, so they develop and advance in their careers
• Provide technical guidance and establish technical best practices
• Manage the software engineering teams of the New Business department
• Connect with engineering teams across the subsidiaries of the Scout24 ecosystem to set up new products and to work on joint integration projects
• Support Scout24 subsidiaries in migrating to our cloud infrastructure
• Support Scout24 subsidiaries in aligning to the product development process
• Dealing with commercial topics when it comes to contracts with external suppliers
• Recognize areas where we can become more efficient and unlock the potential
