Summary

Join LastPass, a leader in password and identity management, as an Engineering Manager. In this role, you will manage the team responsible for driving the frontend modernization of LastPass Web Application and creating cross-functional solutions to enable effective work for frontend engineers. You will influence the frontend architecture and have an impact across all teams in the End User Experience Cluster.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial capacity within a team
  • Proven success in working with products serving a large user/customer base
  • Mastery of agile methodologies, ensuring their effective application within the team
  • Balances structure with creativity to drive the team towards excellence in execution
  • Prioritizes quality and customer satisfaction above all else
  • Proficient in End-to-End thinking, taking accountability beyond team boundaries
  • Establishes and regularly revisits operational strategies within the team, including shared deployment responsibilities, monitoring, incident handling, and failure mode analysis
  • Capable of effectively communicating technically complex details to stakeholders, partners, and peers
  • Provides technical leadership with adeptness in change management
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in English

Responsibilities

  • Manage an agile team of engineers and lead initiatives across teams to improve the quality of LastPass web application
  • Ensure the team possesses the necessary skills to successfully deliver projects
  • Set appropriate goals for all team members and provide ongoing, quality feedback
  • Manage delivery timelines and expectations, prioritizing both time and quality
  • Take ownership and facilitate any technical limitations, complexities, or decisions affecting product requirements
  • Assist the team in overcoming obstacles and impediments
  • Provide guidance to the team during challenging discussions and shifts in priorities
  • Gain insight into customer pain points and advocate for delivering tangible customer value
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, coaching, and mentorship for team developers
  • Conduct performance reviews to drive growth and development
  • Coordinate with other managers and stakeholders to achieve business goals

Past experience in software engineer role
