Requirements

• Have a proven track of at least 5+ years of cumulative industry experience as a Backend developer
• Have 2+ years of experience managing engineers working on early to mid-stage startups
• Be hands-on with JavaScript
• Have experience shipping code into production owning your work from definition through customers testing what you did
• Have outstanding ability to write Technical Specs

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 engineers
• Have a big influence on how we plan, prioritize, and execute our product roadmap
• Grow our engineers to excellence
• Own a particular domain and lead the architecture of it to scale along the business
• Build a culture of highly collaborative and high performance members
• Guide your team to follow best coding practices such as performing great code reviews, driving pair programming sessions, generating technical diagrams to understand the scope of a feature, and splitting work between the team
• Lead your team by example
• Excel at communication
