Requirements

• An experienced engineering manager with 5+ years of leadership experience managing iOS and Android
• Strong technical background with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile development (iOS, Android, web, or some combination)
• Proficient in Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java, with a deep understanding of mobile architectures and best practices
• Passionate about coaching and mentoring engineers, helping them grow their skills and careers
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment, making data-driven decisions, and delivering impactful solutions
• A strong communicator who can articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of iOS, Android, and web developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Drive technical excellence in core client platforms across our mobile apps, ensuring best practices in architecture, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to define and deliver high-quality features that enhance user experience
• Oversee the development lifecycle, from planning and design to execution, deployment, and monitoring
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Act as a thought leader in mobile engineering, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on technical involvement to drive impactful product development
• Drive a culture of ownership and accountability, ensuring the team is aligned with business objectives and user needs
