Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a SaaS, cloud, or fast-growing product environment
  • Prior experience as a software engineer, ideally with React, Node.js, or similar modern technologies
  • Strong understanding of system design, API development (REST), and scalable application patterns
  • Solid background in object-oriented programming and working with large data sets or high-throughput systems
  • Passion for building great user experiences and working collaboratively with UI/UX designers
  • Experience coaching teams on best practices like unit testing, code reviews, and API documentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of key product features in partnership with architects, product managers, and designers
  • Ensure high-quality engineering practices through code reviews, technical coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Own team execution and help shape roadmap priorities by contributing technical insight to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions
  • Champion a high-velocity, agile environment that encourages experimentation, iteration, and customer-driven solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, DynamoDB, CodePipeline) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus
