Requirements
- You have experience working with low-level libraries used by thousands of engineers to enhance their own code
- You have previous experience, such as serving as a tech lead or people manager, leading software engineering teams
- You are an excellent leader with strong interpersonal skills, and you have the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, and setting priorities effectively, while mentoring junior and senior engineers to support their career growth
- You have a track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule and collaborating closely with product management and other engineering managers to set the vision and strategy for your projects
- You have hands-on experience with one or two of the languages we support , ideally JavaScript and Python, and a willingness to spend some time being hands-on and participating in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a talented team of libraries engineers, who are responsible for building the product end-to-end, from data collection to data visualization, directly managing 7 engineers
- Participate in hands-on work: Code reviews, design reviews, and coding
- Create a strong team culture aligned with our engineering standards and our customer focus
- Work closely with product management and other engineering managers to support powerful user workflows that best leverage the vast amount of information being collected
- Ensure the development and continuous improvement of our SDKs, ensuring they are easy to use and powerful, while minimizing overhead in our customers' codebases
- Help grow the team and shape the engineering culture of a distributed team based mainly in the Madrid and Lisbon offices
