Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of data architecture and engineering principles
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools
  • Extensive experience leading and managing engineering teams, developing a collaborative and productive environment
  • Keen attention to detail, effective delegation, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective English communication skills and experience working in international environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to create engaging, data-driven tools and insights that empower our users to make better decisions
  • Champion the development of innovative, advanced features by leveraging the latest technologies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, enhancing team synergy, and promoting best practices
  • Provide experienced guidance on data architecture and data engineering to elevate team performance and ensure scalability
  • Guide your team through technical challenges, code reviews, and architectural decisions, creating a culture of growth and learning
  • Initiate technical discovery and planning sessions to set up effective project execution
  • Shape key technical decisions and lead by example
  • Work closely with product managers, product designers, and stakeholders to prioritize, solve problems, and allocate resources effectively
  • Continuously improve engineering processes to boost efficiency and quality, ensuring a high standard of work
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Hold 1-on-1s with team members, provide ongoing coaching, and support their professional development
