Summary

The job is for an English Editor at Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC, a company providing distribution services and technology solutions to the entertainment industry. The role involves creating subtitles, scripts, and transcriptions for the localization industry. Shifts are available on Tuesday-Saturday & Sunday-Thursday.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree desirable, preferably in English, linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creation of English closed captions, SHD, English templates, Transcriptions and dialogue list scripts
• Annotate key English phrases to a high quality of our translation products
• Maintain quality standards for accuracy and speed

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional scripting, subtitling, and audio software highly desirable but not a requirement - we will train you from the ground up!
• Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office and using different software
• Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary and grammar
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while focusing on a high amount of attention to detail
• Ability to perform under pressure with changing priorities
