Requirements
- Enterprise Sales Expert: 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably within payments, fintech, or related field, with a strong track record of closing high-value, multi-party deals
- Payments Savvy: Deep understanding of payment (acquiring) ecosystems, embedded finance, and platforms (vertical/horizontal SaaS and marketplaces)
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to engage C-level executives, navigate complex organizations, and orchestrate executive alignment during the sales process. Effective communicator with an ability to drive consensus
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing technical solutions and mapping both transaction flows and user journeys. Eagerness to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Strategy teams to address client needs
- Strategic Negotiator: Skilled at leading bespoke commercial negotiations and crafting tailored value propositions to maximize mutual success. Adept at selling on value rather than leading with price
- Collaborative & Driven: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and operates with a no-ego approach to winning as a team
- Adaptable: Ability to navigate ambiguity and adjust to dynamic market conditions while keeping the focus on delivering results
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: Drive new business from lead generation to deal closure, focusing on SaaS platforms, marketplaces, and other B2B2C ecosystems
- Strategic storytelling: Develop compelling narratives to showcase how Adyen’s solutions can create competitive advantages for platforms
- Build executive relationships: Engage and maintain strong partnerships with C-level and senior decision-makers across Product, Engineering, and Finance
- Consultative approach: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes by understanding clients’ technical, operational, financial, and strategic goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Implementation, Account Management, and Product teams around the globe to ensure successful platform and sub-merchant onboarding with an eye on long-term growth
- Shape strategy: Partner with internal stakeholders to refine Adyen’s go-to-market approach for Platforms, driving innovation and differentiation in embedded finance and financial services
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with API-based products, global financial regulations, issuing, and treasury experience is a plus

- Annual OTE ranges from $342,000 to $472,000, inclusive of base salary, target commissions, and RSUs
