Summary
Join ClickHouse, a leading open-source column-oriented database company, as a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive. Based remotely in Australia with regional ANZ travel, you will nurture opportunities, build pipeline, close contracts, and build a strategic enterprise business. You will articulate ClickHouse's vision, use a solution-based approach to selling, promote innovation, and track customer details in Salesforce. You will also contribute to the user and developer community. This role requires managing resources, aligning solutions to customer needs, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with open-source software business models and proficiency in cloud and infrastructure software. Requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- 5+ years of experience with open-source software business models is preferred, and proficiency in cloud and infrastructure software is a minimum requirement
- Passion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results
- Strong business acumen and technology focus with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Identify and nurture opportunities, build and foster pipeline, close short-term Cloud monthly contracts, and build a strategic enterprise business with complex sales cycles in parallel
- Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the company and products and secure strategic commercial commitments
- Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Promote the innovation happening around ClickHouse that is powering the ClickHouse Cloud
- Track customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
- Accurately forecast business on a monthly cadence
- Contribute to the user and developer community in the region by engaging in affinity meetups but also driving ClickHouse specific meetups
- Proactively and efficiently manage resources with dedicated teams, virtual teams, and executive staff around sales opportunities to ensure successful outcomes
- Align the ClickHouse’s Cloud solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
- Experience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
