Join PointClickCare as an Enterprise Architect and play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our technology landscape. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will collaborate with business leaders, contribute to the strategic vision, and ensure technology initiatives align with organizational goals. This position involves translating business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions, leading technical design sessions, managing technical delivery, and developing a comprehensive technical strategy. You will also participate in the Architecture Review Board, evaluate the application portfolio, provide guidance on secure and scalable architecture, and partner with other architects to support data management and integration strategies. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, along with experience in large-scale Salesforce initiatives and enterprise architecture.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Possess proven experience of 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect, demonstrating a solid understanding of relevant areas
• Have experience with planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation programs
• Showcase a proven track record of successfully leading large scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities and ecosystem including Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud and Community Cloud
• Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Have previous roles with a focus on data architecture, application or solution architecture, integration, risk management, and technology standards
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of security architecture principles and practices
• Have proven experience in business capability modelling and translating business needs into technology solutions

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under the guidance of leadership
• Demonstrate expert level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite such as Sales Service, Experience, Community, Marketing and App Clouds Expertise
• Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce com platform
• Lead technical design sessions, architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, identify gaps between client current and desired end states
• Manage the technical delivery of custom development integrations and data migration elements of a Salesforce com implementation
• Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for Salesforce platform encompassing architecture design, development, integration and maintenance
• Actively participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to contribute to sound technology decisions and minimize technology debt
• Evaluate and rationalize the application portfolio, recommending retirements, consolidations, or replacements as needed
• Provide guidance on the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and maintainable technology architecture
• Contribute to producing target state solution architectures, conducting architectural assessments and gap analyses, and shaping the overall solution strategy and roadmap
• Partner with data architect(s) to support data management practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance
• Partner with integration architect(s) to support integration strategies ensuring seamless communication and data flow across various systems
• Work closely with solution architects to ensure that individual solutions align with the overall enterprise architecture
• Collaborate with business leaders to create business capability models that align technology capabilities with business needs
• Contribute to building a vibrant ‘learning community’ within the enterprise architecture discipline, fostering continuous improvement and consistently delivering value to various business units

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect CTA Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect
• Be familiar with TOGAF/EA methodologies, ITSM/ITIL process design, cloud strategy, Agile framework, and security frameworks
