Summary
Join Fivetran's Business Development Representative team and focus on German-speaking markets. Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Partner teams to build strong opportunities in key EMEA accounts. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, cold-calling, qualifying leads, and utilizing sales tools like Salesforce and Salesloft. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Dublin or remotely in the UK near London. You will be responsible for building strong pipeline in your market and articulating Fivetran's value proposition. The role requires strong communication skills, previous business development experience, and professional proficiency in English and German.
Requirements
- English & German at professional proficiency
- Intrinsically motivated person who is highly accountable with a 'get stuck in' attitude
- Excellent in-person, phone, written, and verbal communication skills with both internal and external clients
- Highly curious with a passion for solving our customer's problems
- Highly driven and motivated and thrive in an extremely fast paced environment
- Able to convey technical principles in a very consultative and conversational way
- Comfortable with daily, weekly and monthly calls, email and meeting targets
- Previous business development experience required
Responsibilities
- Outbound into accounts to book Stage 1 opportunities for Account Executives
- Qualify inbound leads and prospect to companies and generate quality meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to individual contributors
- Organize, log activity, and categorize sales lead information into Salesforce.com as well as utilise sales tools available to you such as Salesloft/outreach, demand generation and other prospecting tools
- Be able to articulate and sell Fivetranβs value to prospects and how we can aid their business insights
- Adhere to your inbound and outbound KPIs as well as being comfortable balancing your time
