Summary

Join Infopro Digital group as a permanent, remote EHS Legal Consultant based out of our London offices. This role involves monitoring and researching UK and Irish EHS legislation, ensuring client awareness of legislative changes, drafting summaries of new legislation, updating legal databases, conducting client site visits to identify EHS risks, preparing legal registers, supporting marketing and sales, drafting regulatory responses, and collaborating on international projects. The ideal candidate possesses a third-level qualification in a related field, a comprehensive understanding of EHS legislation, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English. While IOSH membership and prior regulatory compliance knowledge are desirable, they are not essential. Requirements

  • A third-level qualification / degree in environmental law, environmental management, science, health and safety management or related fields
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of key EHS legislation in Ireland and the UK
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and researching UK and Irish EHS legislation
  • Ensuring our clients are informed of key EHS legislative changes
  • Drafting summaries of new or amending legislation and regulatory changes for publication
  • Updating our legal database on a quarterly basis
  • Undertaking site visits or calls with new clients to identify EHS risks associated with their activities as part of the onboarding process
  • Preparing and delivering tailored new client legal registers
  • Supporting the marketing and sales with technical assistance
  • Drafting regulatory assistance responses for clients
  • Collaborating with the European and International Teams on international projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • IOSH Membership or certification is desirable but not essential
  • Previous knowledge of regulatory compliance is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of environmental, health, and safety issues preferred
  • Other language skills a plus
