Summary

Join Databricks as an Event Marketing Manager and contribute to creating exceptional employee event experiences. Reporting to the Sr. Group Manager, you will collaborate with the global events marketing team. This remote position involves developing comprehensive event strategies, managing projects, and ensuring seamless execution. You will partner with various stakeholders to build a robust employee experience roadmap, encompassing event planning, logistics, and post-event analysis. Success in this role requires strong project management, communication, and customer service skills, along with experience in event marketing and relevant technologies. Requirements

  • 5+ years of event marketing experience, especially in internal employee experience and general event management
  • Strong project and time management skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within agreed-upon timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in driving successful group meetings and leading discussions
  • Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail), MS Excel, Mac, and technology literacy
  • Capacity for exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Metrics-driven and enjoy analysis of data points from the conference platform related to conference success and future

Responsibilities

  • Develop structured and thorough project plans for assigned workstreams, analyzing past plans and feedback to create an employee experience strategy
  • Partner with sales, people ops, marketing, and other stakeholders to build a comprehensive roadmap for the Employee Experience strategy
  • Set vision/strategy for the employee experience program
  • Develop a calendar of Tier 1 events in scope
  • Build cross-functional staff requirements, procurement, and enablement/training plans
  • Manage onsite experience logistics and execution
  • Conduct post-event debriefs and implement continuous optimization
  • Develop a complete communications plan for all employee-related communications at event programs
  • Create a comprehensive and concise employee customer service plan
  • Utilize the best program technology, materials, and systems to enhance employee experience management
  • Establish clear guidelines on event attendance to ensure the right people are present for a meaningful experience
  • Support the team in exceeding program goals, including registration/attendance, engagement, and streamlined employee staffing processes

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, Rainfocus, and Swoogo experience
