Join Catawiki, a unique marketplace for buying and selling special objects, as an Expert Comics! You will evaluate and arrange lots submitted by users, leveraging your expert knowledge and network to create attractive auctions. Responsibilities include reviewing lot details, providing estimated values, and professionally handling rejections. You will also engage with your network to create your own auctions and collaborate with the sales team. The role requires expert knowledge in comics, figurines, Disney, and/or Japanese manga, a dealer/buyer network, and documented commercial experience. The position offers a hybrid work model (primarily remote with some office days) in The Netherlands or Belgium and various benefits.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge in your field; with a solid knowledge around comic figurines, Disney, and/or Japanese manga
• A network of dealers/buyers
• Documented commercial experience
• You are a natural team player and thrive in a diverse team environment
• Excellent English communication
• Good computer skills
• You have the diplomatic competence needed to act as a mediator in disputes between users
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and arrange lots submitted by users
• Create attractive auctions every week
• Review lot titles, descriptions, and lot pictures
• Provide users with an estimated value based on this information
• Reject submissions in a professional and courteous manner
• Create your own auctions by engaging with your network and top sellers
• Work with Sales teams to attract new Sellers and offer more choices to Buyers
• Work together with the sales team and proactively review seller segments
• Assist team members in onboarding high potential leads and upselling existing sellers
