User Experience Expert

Summary

Join European Dynamics as a remote User Experience Expert (Drupal)! This role involves collaborating with a major client's IT team. You will analyze business needs, conduct UX research, design online content experiences, and develop Drupal components using various technologies like Twig, CKEditor, Angular, and RESTful APIs. Requirements

• Master’s Degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT
• Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in HTML/CSS
• Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in JavaScript and associated libraries (jQuery, Ajax, Json, Gsap)
• Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in Drupal themes (preferably Drupal 8/9/10)
• Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in Angular/Typescript
• Experience using Git and collaborative tools like GitHub or GitLab
• Experience in SASS
• Experience in Usability and accessibility standards
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
• Understanding of multilingual setups and internationalization (i18n) for global projects
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs in UX
• Prepare quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in UX
• Design UX and services for our online content
• Build and customize Twig templates for Drupal
• Develop and maintain CKEditor custom components
• Develop and maintain Angular components and applications
• Integrate RESTful APIs for dynamic data presentation
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, such as WCAG

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Twig templates, and custom module integration
• Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (Webpack, npm, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like JIRA, Confluence
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and performance optimization
• Excellent command of the English language, other European languages would be an asset
