Summary
Join Vital Farms as an intern and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment focused on ethical food and sustainability. You will work on meaningful projects, tackle real-world challenges, and develop valuable skills. The internship offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at business operations and engagement with business leaders. This is an opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to a mission that makes a real difference. The program runs from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025, with applications due between February 3, 2025 and March 3, 2025. The internship is remote, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelorβs degree in business, marketing, or communications
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, with the ability to build meaningful connections
- Experience in customer support, engagement, or retention, showcasing your ability to foster relationships and drive satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of farming standards and contracts
- Develop an efficient system for collecting and organizing critical data
- Conduct phone surveys with over 375 farmers to gather insights and feedback
- Analyze and present survey results to highlight trends and actionable findings
- Design a comprehensive farmer retention plan to strengthen relationships and long-term partnerships
- Identify key insights from farmer conversations to drive improvements in retention strategies
- Deliver meaningful conclusions and recommendations to ensure farmer success
- Create actionable initiatives for the Farm Operations team based on survey findings
- Present your retention plan and proposed initiatives to the Farm Operations team, showcasing your results and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- A focus or experience in agriculture, animal science, or a related field
- This position will be remote, preferable location is Eastern or Central time zones
