Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in field marketing, event management, or similar role, preferably for an organization that sells to cybersecurity or IT buyers
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to come up with creative solutions under pressure on a trade show floor
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building and negotiating abilities
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leaders and campaign managers to understand current go-to-market needs and create a corresponding event strategy in order to generate quality pipeline and brand awareness experiences
- Execute and manage pipeline generating and brand-building marketing programs including conferences, hosted events, roundtable discussions, and speaking engagements
- Manage all aspects of in-person event coordination including the overall event schedule, contract negotiation, ordering and shipping, swag and giveaways, internal communications, on-site logistics, booth build, agenda management, speaker placements, and staffing
- Manage all aspects of hosted events including venue and menu selection, invite list, agenda, budget, etc
- Communicate with sales and marketing leadership to ensure completion of post-event follow-up
- Communicate closely with our in-house content team to develop appropriate materials for all events and programs
Preferred Qualifications
- SaaS, Tech, and/or Cybersecurity experience a plus
- Salesforce experience is a plus
