Summary
Join Veolia group as a Field Service Representative and provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems. This mission-critical role involves working on various technologies, including media filtration, reverse osmosis (RO), and ultrafiltration (UF). Key responsibilities include conducting maintenance and calibration activities, consulting with Veolia management and operation teams, ensuring contract compliance, and optimizing equipment performance. The position requires troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems, maintaining site paperwork, managing inventory, and performing analytical testing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical know-how, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and remotely.
Requirements
- Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
- Skilled in use of computer for reports, emails, service manuals, etc
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ yearsโ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Valid Driverโs License
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
- Consult with Veolia management and operation teams
- Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
- Create and maintain site paperwork and detailed technical summaries of work performed
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, SDI, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in maintenance
- Ability to travel within NAM as required for training, etc
- Ability to respond after hours and weekends
