Join New Era Technology as a Field Resource Technician, installing and servicing physical security systems. Requirements
- 5 yearsβ experience with installation of Physical Security
- Experience in a field service role or similar position
- Strong people skills required
- Proven ability to establish, manage and prioritize multiple projects with excellent project planning and execution skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices of security installations
- Employee should be fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Set up and program physical security systems, including cameras (Avigilon), access control systems (Brivo, OpenPath), and intrusion detection systems (DSC)
- Install and configure door intercom systems
- Configure and program Avigilon, Brivo, and OpenPath systems according to project requirements
- Run and terminate cables for AV and security systems, including structured cabling (CAT5e/6, fiber optics, etc.)
- Install and manage infrastructure cabling to support AV and security devices
- Ensure all cabling is installed according to industry standards and safety regulations
- Perform system testing to ensure proper operation and functionality
- Diagnose and repair technical issues related to security systems
- Provide on-site support to resolve installation and operational challenges
- Configure and program Avigilon, Brivo, and OpenPath systems according to project requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues related security systems
- Interact with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide technical support as required
- Offer training to end-users on how to operate installed systems
- Always maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude
