Finance Accounting Specialist

Summary

Join Cabify's Finance team as an Accounting Specialist and contribute to improving urban mobility. You will manage the complete accounting cycle for Spanish subsidiaries across various business lines. Collaborate with key departments, ensuring financial information accuracy and alignment. Lead external audits and propose process improvements, focusing on automation and new systems. This role requires 4-5 years of accounting experience, a degree in a related field, and strong Excel skills. Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration (ADE) or related disciplines
• Mastery of Excel and the Office suite in general

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle of the Group's Spanish companies in their different business lines (Ride Hailing, Own Fleet, Asset Sharing and Holding)
• Proactively interact with key departments, especially Management Control, to ensure the alignment of financial information
• Attend and coordinate the external audit process, ensuring its correct development within the established deadlines
• Propose improvement initiatives in accounting processes and participate in ad hoc strategic projects, with a special focus on process automation and the implementation of new systems
• Coordinate and execute accounting closures, guaranteeing the accuracy, integrity and conformity of the financial statements
• Lead and manage the external audit process, facilitating the delivery of information and ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations
• Control and reconcile key accounts, guaranteeing the reliability and accuracy of accounting balances
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring consistency between accounting information, financial statements and management reports
• Design and implement internal control mechanisms and accounting review processes that strengthen the integrity and transparency of financial information
• Optimize and automate financial reports, identifying improvements in data structure and reporting and accounting tools
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, with a focus on optimizing accounting processes, automation and operational efficiency
• Collaborate in the implementation of digitization and automation tools, promoting the modernization of the accounting and financial function
• Act as a communication link between the Accounting team and key areas such as Management Control, Tax and Treasury, ensuring the alignment of accounting information with the Group's strategic financial objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Big Four or in multinational companies with a corporate structure divided between subsidiaries and parent company
• Knowledge of Netsuite
