Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Consolidated experience in the preparation of financial statements in IFRS
• Mastery of Excel, Word and ability to prepare clear and objective presentations
• Knowledge of the banking sector and its particularities
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting and regulatory standards
• Proactive, communicative and hands-on profile, with ease of working in a team
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and constantly changing environment
• Experience with accounting systems and management tools

Responsibilities

• Elaborate financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards as well as the CADOCs of the prudential conglomerate
• Execute quarterly reports of the prudential conglomerate for presentation to stakeholders
• Develop, review, and implement accounting policies
• Analyze accounting and regulatory standards, proposing their application in the company
• Support in the elaboration and review of accounting CADOCs and others pertinent to the area (such as FGC)
• Write technical memos and management reports to support management
• Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory legislation applicable to the banking sector
• Monitor internal and external audits, answering questions and providing technical support
• Collaborate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes, proposing practical and efficient solutions
• Contribute to the integration between areas, promoting clear communication and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Spanish and/or English
• Prior experience in audit firms, especially Big Four
• Experience in relevant projects in the banking or financial sector (companies regulated by the Central Bank)
