Finance Associate

Summary

You will be hands-on with key financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. Requirements

• A recent graduate ( a numerate or analytical discipline is a bonus) or 1-2 years experience in your finance career
• Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions or try new things
• Super organised, detail-obsessed, and confident with spreadsheets
• A clear communicator and eager to work with people at all levels
• Hungry to learn

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing supplier invoices, coordinating timely payments and reconciling statements
• Responsible for all customer invoicing and chasing, Partnering with Customer Success to keep cash flowing
• Learn the fundamentals of financial reporting
• Assisting with journal entries (accruals, prepayments, etc.), helping prep reports for internal teams and decision-makers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Xero, or accounting basics
• Internships, side hustles, or university society roles that show initiative
