Summary
Join our client, an Australian company specializing in ServiceNow solutions, as a seasoned finance leader. This strategic role oversees all financial operations across five entities, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidated accounting, insurance management, and payroll. You will collaborate with senior executives and manage audits and compliance across multiple countries. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and technical accounting skills, along with experience in financial reporting, treasury, and tax compliance. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a CA or CPA qualification preferred. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 7β10+ years of experience in financial accounting, ideally within manufacturing, service industries, or corporate compliance
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Deep understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in financial reporting, treasury, tax compliance, and payroll accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Proactive, adaptable, and highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to optimize and develop financial processes for efficiency and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with senior executives, Head of Sales, and Delivery teams
- Maintains clear communication with internal and external contacts, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Manages budgeting, forecasting, payroll accuracy, and insurance across multiple entities
- Ensures timely payment of suppliers and payroll while maximizing cash flow
- Oversees external audits (ML, PH) and tax compliance across AU, Malaysia, and Singapore
- Ensures compliance with company, payroll-related, and withholding taxes
- Leads invoicing, client account management, collections, and financial strategy
- Manages the Internal ServiceNow revenue timecard system
- Provides accurate accounting and financial reporting, including reconciliations and monthly financial reports, within reporting deadlines
- Challenges existing processes, identifies inefficiencies, and explores automation or improvements
- Enhances internal controls and compliance
- Performs additional duties and projects as required by the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
- Familiarity with Xero, ServiceNow, or similar financial tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
