Summary

Join Experian as a Senior Manager, Sales Incentive Strategy to lead a team, develop talent, and cultivate an inclusive environment. You will provide thought leadership to executives across multiple departments and provide insights to help them understand the financial implications of sales incentive strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, or similar environment, including FP&A and project management experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience creating and implementing sales incentive strategies
  • Experience of incentive plan modeling
  • Experience using data to assess plan effectiveness and to tell a story
  • People leadership experience and a history of building teams
  • Role model a and promote continuous improvement / process efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop sales incentive strategies by using best in class practices and internal analytics
  • Design, monitor and modify sales incentive plans to incentivize desired behaviors and achieve sales targets
  • Lead the development of models and scenarios to test the potential impact of the incentive plans
  • Drive data-driven decisions by providing comprehensive results reporting and forecasting of likely results
  • Translate complex results data into clear, concise and impactful executive level communications
  • Drive plan governance and communications o Understanding of best-in-class sales incentive governance
  • Create and maintain appropriate levels of communications, aligning to archiving policy with legal and HR
  • Understanding of local laws which impact plan policies and how we communicate o Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to sales compensation
  • Act as a business advisor to the President of Sales and his direct reports
  • Recruit, develop, and direct a lean team that partners closely with the business to achieve strategic objectives
  • Manage the team's performance by motivating, engaging, and providing coaching o Set clear goals, prioritization and expectations for team members, regularly monitor their performance, and provide constructive feedback
  • Challenge existing processes based on industry best practice and trends to ensure Experian is maintaining a best-in-class approach
  • Successfully work on multiple projects, understand the details while at the same time be able to advise strategically on big picture challenges
  • Build relationships and collaborate across multiple teams to achieve impactful results
