Summary

Join Teneo as a Finance Manager and oversee the accurate and timely management reporting for the Teneo Ireland entity. You will lead the Teneo Ireland Finance team, managing day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Payable functions. This role involves supporting the senior finance team, collaborating with other finance functions within Teneo, and reporting to the Financial Controller, Europe. Key responsibilities include managing month-end processes, ensuring revenue recognition accuracy, overseeing intercompany reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. You will also manage and mentor the finance team, fostering their professional development. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial accounting experience, leadership skills, and proficiency in relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Main Finance business interface providing financial information to Senior Finance Team Team, Senior Management Team and Global Counterparties in line with monthly internal and global reporting timelines
  • Manage month end timetable and compliance
  • Monthly Revenue recognition ensuring revenue is accrued at the point of delivery and revenue forecasts are current in line with business expectations for the Irish office
  • Support and oversee intercompany reconciliations ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately between all Teneo entities
  • Manage, review and provide Debtor & Unbilled AR Analysis to Managing Directors and Controllers on a monthly basis
  • Oversee month end reporting and ensuring accuracy of the P&Ls, identifying potential risks and issues are communicated to the Global CFO and Senior Management
  • Review and signoff monthly balance sheet control accounts in line with the month-end procedures
  • Report final local financials in line with month-end timelines
  • Support the Controllers and Global CFO in preparation of forecasts, annual budgets and cash-flows
  • Reviewing of monthly accounts across all Financial Advisory subsidiaries
  • Review and submit quarterly VAT return in conjunction with rest of the UK for the UK wide return
  • Resolve queries arising from the senior team and wider Teneo finance teams
  • Identify areas of ‘best practice’ throughout the wider Teneo business and ensure these are adopted or shared
  • Supporting audit processes for Global FA and managing timelines
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and statutory rules within the prescribed timetables
  • Main bank interface ensuring accounts are consistently managed, review and approval of payments and expense runs
  • Manage and support all finance functions, (accounts receivable, payable and management accounts) alongside Controllers, providing direction, mentorship, training and performance development to support their career aspirations in line with the company review process
  • Ensure the team continually improves their knowledge and understanding of financial control
  • Review and monitor daily and monthly tasks providing further training for areas of development; ensuring task lists are up to date and adhered to
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all accounting systems and ledgers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of NetSuite accounting software – preferred but not essential
