Remote Financial Analyst

Summary

Join Clearco's Financial Reporting team as a Financial Analyst and contribute to the day-to-day accounting functions while driving continuous improvement to reporting, payment, and receivable processes.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of experience in financial reporting
• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance
• Enrolment in the CPA designation program
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Stellar time management and organizational skills - you can prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• A strong attention-to-detail - you take pride in knowing all the details and are obsessed with accuracy
• An analytical mindset - you love working with numbers!
• Problem-solver abilities - you are not afraid to think outside of the box and think of better solutions and/or processes
• Proficiency in Excel with a propensity to create and automate manual processes

Responsibilities

• Participate in and help execute daily finance and accounting operations
• Assist in monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting, helping with account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Support the implementation and integrations of new systems and productivity tools, improve checks and balances, and enhance controls
• Help develop and document financial processes and controls that align with Clearco’s growth
• Continuously evaluate new ways to improve efficiencies, reporting, processes etc
• Ad-hoc tasks as required
