Summary
Join Dandy, a company revolutionizing the dental industry with technology, as a Financial Analyst. You'll play a key role in building out FP&A capabilities, driving analytical processes, and supporting critical business decisions. This position requires a highly motivated finance professional with experience in financial modeling, management reporting, planning/forecasting, and planning software administration. You'll be part of a small but dedicated FP&A team, contributing to scaling the finance function to support a rapidly growing business. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential information flow for resource allocation and contribute to Dandy's success.
Requirements
- 2+ years of FP&A or other relevant Finance experience, ideally in a high growth startup
- High proficiency with complex financial modeling and reporting techniques
- Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics and communicate insights effectively to all levels of management
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple functions and management levels with a service-oriented, business partnering approach
- Excels in an ambiguous environment where processes are not defined
- Operates with a sense of urgency and a willingness to get in the weeds to improve processes
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and extremely proactive
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs/Sheets
Responsibilities
- Be the business partner to stakeholders across the business and deliver comprehensive management reporting synthesizing key insights on performance, along with managing teams to their departmental budgets
- Own full software vendor stack for budgeting and forecasting and partner with relevant stakeholders to keep spend in-line with targets
- Develop cash and balance sheet management insights and tools
- Operate as key business partner with accounting to drive toward more accurate and efficient reporting proactively
- Manage and actualize our financial model on a monthly basis
- Take ownership of managing executive and investor reporting through delivering essential financial updates succinctly and by being the project manager as it relates to deck creation and keeping the finance team on task
- Be the subject matter expert of our FP&A software and professional fees and be willing to implement new systems where applicable
- Develop and implement new procedures and processes to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and workflow of the Finance Department, including process automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Netsuite, Looker, and Airbase preferred
- Corporate planning tool implementation or administration experience highly desired
- Operations or manufacturing finance experience
- BI tool proficiency, SQL or comparable query language experience
