Financial Assistant

Summary

The job description is for a Financial Assistant position at Mito, a company that has grown from 3 people to over 200. The role involves maintaining vendor relations, invoice management, ERP system maintenance, Jira ticket handling, and bank transfers. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of accounting experience in a medium-sized company, be fluent in Hungarian, proficient in Excel, and have completed a few semesters of finance or accounting. Bonus points are given for experience with any ERP system or being a certified public accountant.

Requirements

• You have at least two years of experience in accounting within a medium-sized company
• You’ve completed a few semesters of finance or accounting—and actually enjoyed it
• Curiosity - You’re open to learning new things and expanding your skill set
• Patience for repetition, meaning you are not afraid of monotonous work
• Language Skills: You’re conversational in English. Fluency in Hungarian is a must
• Someone who excels in Excel. (and in lame word jokes)

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with vendors, ensuring all invoices comply with legal standards
• Upload vendor invoices into our ERP system, Maconomy
• Keep our beloved Maconomy up to date with accurate financial data
• Manage Jira tickets related to online purchases and reimbursements
• Oversee and manage bank transfer processes
