Remote Financial Director

Summary

The Financial Director will analyze, report, and advise on the financial health of Entersekt's global business, lead strategic financial projects, oversee accounting operations, and more. This role requires in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, proficiency in using financial management software, and a solid background in financial analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

• Clarity around business priorities and direction and keep up to date with trends in the market
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles - IFRS experience, tax, laws and best practices
• Proficient in the use of financial management software. Experience using Xero and Salesforce required
• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
• SaaS or technology industry experience will be preferred
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• BCom/BBusSci/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• CA(SA), CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial health of the business
• Advise leaders on commercials and project decision-making
• Support the commercial function with revenue forecasting and commission plan administration
• Lead strategic financial projects for the business, including process optimization, systems integration, data governance, and reliability of financial information
• Oversee accounting operations and produce accurate reports on where money is going within the business
• Improve or change current practices to increase efficiency
• Report directly to the Group CFO based in the US
• Lead the technical competence areas of the function such as audit, treasury, tax and reporting
