As part of the finance team, you will play a key role in optimizing financial processes, automating controlling and accounting, and supporting investor reporting and funding activities. This position requires 1-3 years of experience in finance, controlling, or consulting, strong data analysis skills (especially in Excel), and proficiency in Python and SQL. You will be responsible for tasks such as financial planning, controlling system automation, accounting process review, and report generation. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of full-time professional experience in the areas of finance, controlling or consulting
  • You possess strong skills in evaluating (financial) data, especially in financial planning with Excel
  • You have prior knowledge of Python and SQL: you can write scripts for data processing to optimize financial and controlling processes
  • You are familiar with accounting principles and processes; terms such as HGB, Datev, balance sheet delimitation, etc. are not foreign words to you
  • You have good communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2-C1) in spoken and written form
  • You possess a hands-on mentality and enjoy working in a young and high-pace work environment
  • You have strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and further automate financial planning, including preparing financial data for investor updates and board meetings
  • Further automate the controlling system to automatically generate actual-target analyses of the respective area budgets
  • Review accounting processes in accounting software moss (together with our accountant)
  • Support in the preparation of the annual financial statements in cooperation with our accountant and our tax advisors RΓΆdl & Partner
  • Conduct statistical reports and other reporting requirements
  • Automate and further optimize accounting processes
  • Prepare financial data and support in all funding activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Initial experience or knowledge of the German energy market and its peculiarities with regard to financial processes
  • Initial start-up experience
