You will be responsible for supporting the close process, designing and optimizing financial planning models, owning a segment of company expenses, building dashboards, providing ad-hoc analysis, and interacting with senior executives. This role requires at least three years of experience in a financial analyst, consulting, or investment banking role, proven Excel expertise, and the ability to develop and manage financial models independently. Requirements

  • Numbers and outcome oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail with a focus of understanding what is behind a number
  • Seek out precision in models but know when to cut the significant digits
  • At least three years of experience in a financial analyst, consulting or investment banking role
  • Proven expertise with Excel/Sheets
  • Ability to develop and manage financial models independently
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from clerical staff to executives, and manage relationships with external parties

Responsibilities

  • Support the close process and related reporting, including prepaid analysis, vendor cost reviews, and headcount reporting
  • Design, automate, and optimize flexible financial planning models, systems & processes to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business
  • Own a lane of company expenses, and seek insight and understanding to partner with the business leaders to resolve competing business priorities
  • Build dashboards and variance / operational reviews
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize ROI
  • Interact with senior executives and board regarding financial matters as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Helpful to know SQL, Looker/BI data
  • Have working experience with Financial Reporting tools like Adaptive, being part of the implementation process a plus
