Requirements
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, with experience in financial solutions for the SMB market (3+ years)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial solutions, and the challenges faced by SMBs and accounting firms
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales management tools
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the SMB and accounting firm sectors
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Conduct continuous market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs
- Analyze market data to position our solutions and identify new opportunities for growth effectively
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with accounting firms, industry influencers, and relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with partners to drive mutual business opportunities and expand market reach
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of our financial solutions, accounting software, and industry best practices
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients
- Employ a consultative sales approach to understand customer challenges, business goals, and financial objectives
- Develop and present tailored solutions that address specific client needs and deliver measurable results
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing and onboarding
- Utilize CRM software and sales management tools to track progress, manage opportunities, and ensure a seamless and efficient process
- Effectively manage and qualify inbound marketing leads generated through various channels
- Prioritize leads based on engagement and potential, and convert them into qualified sales opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and client relations, to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction
- Share best practices and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
