FP&A Analyst

Summary

As a FP&A Analyst at Hopper, you will create and maintain management reporting to help business leaders make sound decisions, identify improvement opportunities, give periodic briefs on company performance, collaborate with multiple areas of the business, and more. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a quantitative discipline, 3-5 years of experience in a top tier tech company or consulting firm, proficiency in SQL, and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in a top tier tech company, consulting firm, or venture capital firm
• Experience working in or with FP&A/strategic finance
• Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and in general, using programming as a tool to scale and solve problems

Responsibilities

• Build scalable solutions for management reporting in order to support business leaders in decision making
• Continuously identify improvement opportunities, including the automation of reporting and analytics using SQL/Big Query
• Give periodic briefs on company performance, assessing growth and addressing problem areas
• Help business leaders make better strategic decisions by enabling them through data and deep understanding of financial trade-offs, across both our B2B and B2C product organizations
• Create, update and maintain financial models, budgets and forecasts

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of building queries in ETL environment is preferable
