Summary

Join Owkin's finance team as a dynamic FP&A Business Partner Manager. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will provide strategic financial guidance and insights for drug development and corporate functions. Key responsibilities include developing financial models, reports, and forecasts; participating in the monthly finance closing process; and conducting ad hoc analyses. The ideal candidate possesses a finance or management degree, biotech/life sciences experience, exceptional analytical skills, and strong organizational capabilities. The position offers flexible work arrangements and the opportunity to work with an international team in Paris, Nantes, London, or remotely in France and the UK.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance or Management (from a recognized Business School or University)
  • Proven experience as an FP&A professional within the Biotech or Life Sciences sectors, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and communicate insights effectively
  • Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to remain adaptable, flexible, and responsive to evolving business needs
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) and hands-on experience building financial models
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen ability to identify and address key issues as they arise
  • A deep passion for the intersections of finance, healthcare, and AI
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted Finance Business Partner for both our drug development initiatives and corporate functions, providing strategic financial guidance and insights
  • Collaborate in the preparation and development of financial models, reports, budgets, and forecasts to support organizational objectives
  • Play a central role in the monthly finance closing process, including analysis of financial reports, identifying significant variances from the budget, conducting in-depth data analysis, and recommending actionable plans
  • Support ad hoc analyses by creating bespoke reports and tailored financial analyses, addressing the specific needs of various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in French
  • Familiarity with Pigment (financial reporting tool)
