Summary
Join SEON, a leading fraud prevention system, as an FP&A Manager (Fixed Cost) and play a crucial role in managing and forecasting headcount-related costs, variable compensation costs, and other fixed costs. You will be responsible for building cash flow models to ensure accurate planning and forecasting of the company's total consolidated cash flow. This role involves collaborating with various business partners from the People and GTM teams to consolidate inputs and drive actionable financial insights. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from Budapest or remotely from the New York City area.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with a focus on headcount cost management, variable compensation, or fixed cost management
- Strong understanding of payroll forecasting, compensation modeling, and cost management processes
- Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial modeling
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel (experience with Netsuite is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create actionable insights from financial data
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including People, Accounting, and Operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and provide strategic recommendations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the People team to track and assess the hiring pipeline, ensuring headcount growth aligns with budget and strategic goals
- Develop and maintain detailed payroll forecasts, factoring in salary, benefits, bonuses, and other compensation-related expenses
- Design and model out variable compensation schemes, including bonuses, commissions, and other incentive structures
- Provide input for planning and forecasting to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for variable compensation costs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Calculate and propose monthly accruals for variable compensation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards
- Monitor and validate actual payouts against forecasts for variable compensation, investigating any discrepancies and recommending corrective actions if needed
- Plan, forecast, and review actual costs associated with tools and services required by the company to ensure optimal spending
- Oversee the planning, forecasting, and tracking of travel-related expenses to ensure travel costs are managed in line with company policy and budget
- Build cash flow modeling and develop detailed and accurate cash flow models that consolidate data from various cost centers and ensure clear visibility into the companyโs financial health
- Create cash flow forecasts that reflect the companyโs business operations, ensuring liquidity and supporting long-term financial planning
- Consolidate and manage the consolidation of FP&A inputs from both topline revenue forecasts and fixed cost areas, ensuring alignment and accurate reporting for the leadership team
