Summary

Join the Grand Welcome Franchise Development Team as the Franchise Development Director to drive expansion across the United States. You will play a vital role in accelerating brand growth by aggressively recruiting high-quality franchise owners, managing the sales process, and closing deals. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills, along with experience in franchise development. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, execute recruitment strategies, and meet or exceed sales targets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a franchise development role with a proven track record of closing deals
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask under high pressure and in a time sensitive environment
  • Proven closer with experience working with clients over the telephone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving, territory management and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to guide prospects through the franchising process from lead to executed franchise agreement

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively recruit high quality franchise owners by leading them through the sales process and closing deals
  • Effectively work with candidates from a combination of lead sources
  • Connect with and engage prospects from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures
  • Maintain frequent communication with prospects and prompt follow-up with leads
  • Execute franchise recruitment strategies, processes and utilize tools to develop strong relationships with franchise candidates and franchisees
  • Maintain timely and accurate records/updates in the franchise CRM
  • Perform Discovery Day set up and execution
  • Prepare FDD Disclosure
  • Manage application and associated deliverables
  • Attend all required meetings and provide daily, weekly or other reports as required
  • Deliver satisfactory results meeting or exceeding targets
  • Performs other related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategic relationship builder, willing to be flexible with their work week, depending on the needs of franchisee leads and candidates
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
