Fraud Specialist

Summary

Join MINT MOBILE as a Temp to Hire-Fraud Specialist in the Finance Team! This is a remote position with a possibility of converting to a full-time role after 90 days. The ideal candidate will review suspicious customer accounts, identify fraud trends, and work with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in Risk, Fraud Prevention, and chargeback/customer disputes (preferred, not required)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Basic understanding of Fraud Risks
• Excellent computer skills are a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) preferred
• Ability to learn new technical and departmental systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and the ability to carry out business communications
• Ability to interpret data and organize information accurately

Responsibilities

• Review suspected fraud cases while adhering to department and company service-level agreements
• Maintain or exceed minimum fraud review volume expectations with minimal errors, complaints, and chargebacks
• Work with fraud leadership to evaluate or develop tools and enhance fraud detection capabilities
• Partner with other members of the team to improve internal processes when necessary
• Develop effective working relationships across internal and external departments as necessary
• Understand, record, and update reports for all alerts received
