Summary
Join SixMap, a company protecting major government and corporate enterprises, as a Full Stack Engineer. You will split your time equally between frontend and backend development, working with React (or learning it), Python, and Spring Boot. This role requires strong frontend skills and experience with backend development, APIs, databases, and cloud services. You will collaborate with product managers and designers, ensuring seamless user experiences and contributing to best practices in testing, security, and performance. Requirements
- Experience with frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with any modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.), with a willingness to work with React
- Experience in backend development with Python and/or Java (Spring Boot)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with authentication, security best practices, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools for both frontend and backend
- A mindset of adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Start-up Experience
Responsibilities
- Split your time 50% frontend, 50% backend, ensuring smooth integration between the two
- Develop and maintain frontend applications, working with React (or learning it quickly if unfamiliar)
- Build and optimize backend services using Python and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to create seamless user experiences
- Work with APIs, databases, and cloud services to build full-stack features
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to best practices in testing, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
- Stay up to date with modern development tools and industry trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Understanding of microservices architecture and system scalability
