Manage direct reports, relationships with Microsoft executives, and external agencies, ensuring contracts and business plans align with strategic goals.
Requirements
- Sales leadership experience, the ability to create opportunities and align the selling organisations
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with the market opportunity, client business goals and objectives
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft and the Solutions they provide
- Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship building and management skills across stakeholders, collaboration and communication skills are critical
- Strong influencing and persuasive ability
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information that translate into sales across various levels
- Strong consultative and planning skills and ability to articulate and escalate with a solution focus
Responsibilities
- Build the mindshare of Datacomโs capability, competency and propositionโs within Microsoft and generate partner leads and opportunities
- Positioning Datacom as market leader with appropriate new and existing technologies to market while also maximising the incentives, presales investments, marketing funds and any other resources that improves sales potential and profitability
- Collaborating widely and with curiosity to drive the appropriate; communications, governance and adherence with all the Lines of Business within Datacom to unlock the benefits of the partnership
- Managing the day-to-day operations of direct reports, ensuring that; planning, partner impact, governance, incentives, targets, communications and contracts are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that service levels are met, and results delivered
- Managing the relationships with (and between) Microsoft at exec level, ensuring contracts and business plans are negotiated in line with strategic goals and financial targets
- Ensuring that external agencies and suppliers see Datacom in the best light and understand the full capability of Datacom
