Summary
Join Pleo as their Global Mobility Lead and spearhead their global mobility program. You will manage employee relocations, ensure compliance with international regulations, and support internationally mobile employees. This role requires strong knowledge of global mobility policies, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complex international regulations. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end global mobility processes, reviewing and improving policies and tools, and developing business cases for change. Success in this role demands strong problem-solving skills, a customer-centric approach, and effective stakeholder management. Requirements
- Have proven evidence of working across end to end global mobility processes and are well-versed in global mobility policies and tooling
- Be able to navigate complex international regulations - across employment tax, cross-border tax, right to work, relocation etc
- Have evidence of improving global mobility processes, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Be comfortable working with external global mobility providers (we work with Remote.com, Jobbatical etc!)
- Be a great problem solver in complex cases and queries
- Have a customer-centric approach to problem solving
- Be familiar using data to influence decision making
- Have strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate and influence wherever necessary
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end process of global mobility cases, including relocation, immigration, tax, and risks associated with mobility compliance
- Review, refresh and relaunch a full stack approach (process, policy, tools) to global mobility
- Develop a business case for change and track its success
- Decrease risk and stabilize remote and global workforce success
- Improve the capabilities of the People & Culture team (including payroll and finance) by implementing and communicating clear best practices to ensure accurate and timely processing of international cases, including compensation and benefits
- Facilitate the cross collaboration across our employees, payroll, immigration and our external global mobility partners
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers around global mobility policies, processes and requirements
- Coordinate and manage work permit and visa applications for international cases, including supporting documentation and compliance checks
