Summary
Join Distributor Wire & Cable, a fast-growing, innovative, and data-driven company, as our Global Sourcing Manager! You will manage sourcing operations, build vendor partnerships, and ensure supply chain efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining a CT-PAT program, negotiating contracts, and collaborating on strategic sourcing projects. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or sourcing, a deep understanding of strategic sourcing principles, and strong negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will be located in the Greenville, SC area. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or sourcing
- Deep understanding of strategic sourcing and relationship management principles
- Negotiates skillfully with both internal and external groups
- Data driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Attention to detail
- Eager to learn, with an ability to learn new tools and technology
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing engagements by partnering with stakeholders to define business requirements, identify potential suppliers, determine suppliers requirements, conduct negotiations, and execute contracts
- Manage, analyze, and drive strategic sourcing projects and initiatives to include all aspects of strategic sourcing processes that highly impact the business
- Implement and maintain CT-PAT program, to include being the designated liaison with Customs
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining product/SKU specification sheets
- Travels domestically and internationally to visit and evaluate vendor production sites
- Collaborate on the development and maintenance of metrics and forecasting models, ensuring supply chain goals align with financials and sales demand
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local procurement requirements in vendor, partner, and individual selections for goods or services
- In collaboration with other departments, analyze performance of products, develop and provide input to product strategy aligning to business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in supply chain or related field preferred
- Experience with CTPAT and international shipping preferred
- Experience in B2B companies with distribution and international operations preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
