Requirements
- Ability to analyse, derive insights, explain technical concepts
- Business acumen - understanding of business models
- Passion for technology and digital business with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Deep knowledge of Google ad campaigns
- Structured approach to project work, with good logic and ability to work with spreadsheets
- Great problem solver and an ambitious mindset
- At least 1-2 years in SEM and PPC, previous exposure to mid size budgets
- Ability to constantly acquire new and relevant skills to maintain the competitive edge
- Language skills: German (native or bilingual proficiency), ideally Swiss German native, English (fluent), all additional languages a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage Google Ad campaign strategies, understanding client goals and creating campaign structures and media plans to reach those goals
- Set up campaigns, including keyword research and campaign structures (search, display, remarketing, YouTube, app, and shopping campaigns)
- Create creative ad copy
- Configure Google Ad accounts, including linking to Analytics and importing conversions
- Configure Google Merchant Center when required
- Conduct conversion testing to ensure accounts are set up correctly
- Perform ongoing campaign maintenance, ensuring alignment with client goals, monitoring keyword bids, daily and monthly budgets, conversions/ROAS, impression share, quality score, and other important metrics. Flag potential issues with the Account Manager and provide recommended solutions
- Conduct weekly account checklists
- Provide campaign performance insights, monitor and identify improvement opportunities in line with campaign objectives. Derive insights from data, create hypotheses, and test to ensure continual campaign performance improvements and growth. Contribute to monthly reports with insights and data to analyze campaign performance
- Support other Google Ad specialists within the team and look for continual improvement opportunities for our internal processes
- Liaise with the Google Agency Account Manager to handle disapproved accounts or ads, clarify open topics, and look for innovation and improvement opportunities to share with the team
