Requirements

  • Be a US Citizen
  • Obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • Have 5+ years of experience in graphic design (a link to your work portfolio should be included on your resume)
  • Possess expert-level proficiency with common design software (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
  • Have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Be a quick starter and nimble/creative under project constraints
  • Show a real passion for seamless design and the creative process
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in and passion for learning new technologies and design skills
  • Provide a strong portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, process, and innovation in related fields
  • Have experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset, be enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying gained knowledge to address business problems
  • Be able to communicate on a business level and translate needs into a technical solution

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute visually compelling designs for both digital and print mediums, including websites, social media content, marketing collateral, advertisements, and presentations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and target audience needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and development teams to create cohesive design solutions that align with strategic goals and drive brand engagement
  • Uphold and enhance brand identity by adhering to established guidelines while infusing innovative and fresh design perspectives across all deliverables
  • Prepare, optimize, and deliver production-ready assets for print and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy in file formats, resolution, and specifications
  • Conduct ongoing research to stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices, integrating insights to keep designs modern and impactful
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion by setting priorities, adhering to deadlines, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Have familiarity with UI/UX principles and tools
