Requirements

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience, specifically in page layout design
  • Excellent design and layout skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Technological adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Receptivity to constructive feedback and new processes
  • High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Dedicated remote workspace with stable internet
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, and Microsoft and Google ecosystems
  • Must be currently residing in one of the following U.S. States: AL, AR, CA, FL, GA, IL, KY, LA, MA, MI, MS, NY, NC, OK, SC, TN, or TX

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout print curriculum using Adobe InDesign
  • Create engaging slide presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Generate figures and illustrations in Adobe Illustrator across multiple subjects
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere and assist with content loading into our learning platform
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Developers to align graphic elements with content across products
  • Work with the Design Manager to implement design standards for print books, slides, and videos
  • Participate in remote meetings using a webcam and microphone, including daily huddles, sprint planning sessions, and monthly department meetings
  • Prioritize tasks and communication to meet team deadlines and deliverables
  • Maintain clear communication across teams to ensure timely and high-quality content completion
  • Contribute to building an inclusive, supportive, and positive work environment
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and earn exemplary performance reviews from leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or video editing preferred
  • Experience with Figma or other digital prototyping tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
