Hardware Program Manager

Summary

Join Stripe's Issuing Card Operations team and lead the day-to-day operations of our physical card product. You will manage supplier relationships, drive process improvements, build new processes internally and with vendors, and lead projects to enhance scale and efficiency. This role involves implementing ERP solutions, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams, and working closely with Stripe users to launch their physical card programs. You will identify and lead opportunities to improve operations, develop the product to support card customization, and expand the supply chain into new countries. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or physical goods operations, along with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supply chain, manufacturing or physical goods operations experience
• Experience working with manufacturers or physical good suppliers
• Excitement for building new processes and working in a scrappy environment
• Ability to operate autonomously and comfort with ambiguity
• Strong stakeholder management; strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proclivity for data-driven decision-making and strong analytic skills
• Ability to think strategically, articulate tradeoffs of decisions and propose solutions
• Results-driven with a strong sense of process and a knack for standardization
• Can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proven track record for working well across teams and with external partners
• 30% willingness to travel to suppliers

Responsibilities

• Own the relationships with manufacturers and logistics partners
• Build new processes and optimize existing processes along the supply chain
• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain metrics
• Manage S&OP process and drive resolution of shortages and delays
• Lead the expansion of our supply chain into new countries
• Lead the implementation of ERP systems and other value-add tools
• Work closely with Stripe users to launch their physical card programs
• Identify and lead new opportunities to improve our operations
• Develop our product to support further card customization at scale
